Silver 75.00-84.99

Platinum 85.00-89.99

Gold 90.00-94.99

High Gold 95.00+

SCORING

• As long as the average mark from adjudicator’s falls within the above marking system of Silver, Platinum, Gold & High Gold, all competitors will receive the award appropriate to the mark obtained.

 Please note: 1st, 2nd and 3rd placements in each category of 5 or more entries will be announced.

All top mark winners will be announced throughout the event!

MOST PROMISING DANCER

6 dancers from each age group, 12 & under and 13 & Over soloists will be eligible by mark to dance off for the Most Promising Dancer Awards. All Top 6 dancers will receive DanceAbition Most Promising swag along with an MDP scholarship.

The Most Promising Dancer along with the 1st and 2nd runner up in 12 & Under and 13 & Over will receive an MDP scholarship and a trophy.

 

DANCEABITION FINALS

The Highest scoring routines of the competition will be eligible to dance off in the Danceabition Finals in each age group, 12 & under and 13 & over, and will include the following categories: Duo/Trio and Groups. (Each studio will only be eligible once per category based on the highest mark achieved  for their studios in the age group.)

The winning Duo/Trio will receive a trophy along with an MDP scholarship.

Each age division of 12 & Under and 13 & Over Groups will dance off for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Place. The winning groups will receive a trophy along with an MDP scholarship for their studio!

• Adjudicators will also select up to 3 routines for the Wild card in the 12 & under and 13 & over categories.  **Please Note: Wild Card picks depend on # of entries in the competition.

**NEW**

The 3 highest scoring routines in both Novice & Pre-Competitive Divisions will be eligible to dance off in the Danceabition Finals. 1 overall winner I each division will receive a trophy along with an MDP scholarship for their studio!

**Please note, Eligible routines for the Finals will vary for each event. This will depend on # of entries in each division in the competition.

ADJUDICATION

McKiel Video will be providing the adjudicator (s) comments via dropbox to each studio at the end of the festival. 

It is our intention to have two adjudicators for DanceAbition, however where organizers determine it is necessary, we will have one adjudicator to judge various sections of the event.

*Millennium Dance Productions will not issue refunds or be held responsible for sudden cancellation or time lost due to extreme weather or any other extraneous circumstances. Millennium Dance Productions will not be held responsible for injuries, damage and lost of stolen property over the duration of the competition. Millennium Dance Productions will not be held responsible for any additional fees incurred (ie: Parking fees, Parking Tickets, etc.) by dancers, teachers, studio owners or any participants while attending one or more of the events.
